Dempo Vishwa Gramshala (DVG) held its 2nd Annual Stakeholders’ meeting and Workshop of the year at Dempo House recently.

DVG was honoured to have Mr. Nagaraj Honnekeri, the newly-appointed Director of Education, Government of Goa, light the ceremonial lamp at the start of the event, along with our DVG Head Mistresses, Mrs. Ana Graca D’Sa (of the Government High School, Dadachiwadi, Dhargal, Pernem) and Mrs. Jyoti Dessai (of the Government High School, Vaddem, Kurdi, Sanguem), with DVG Programme Director, Dr. Victoria M. Chowgule joining in.

Director Honnekeri delivered the Keynote address to DVG’s special round table discussion featuring Senior Educators and Administrator from Dhempo Charities Trust, Panaji.

Featured participants included Dr. Radhika Nayak, Principal, S.S. Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Dr. Vrinda Borkar, Principal, Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Mrs. Rupa Khope, Principal, Vasantrao Dempo Higher Secondary School of Arts, Science and Commerce, and Rajesh Bhatikar, Administrator, Dempo Charities Trust.

Participants enjoyed a special banquet lunch following the lively and profound discussion of a broad spectrum of issues facing educators in today’s Goa.
