Globally emerging table tennis talent and Dempo Goodwill Ambassador Tanisi Vaikunth Shenvi Kirtani won a silver medal at the All India National Championships organised at Aizawl, Mizoram recently by the East Zone.
The early-teen wonder paddler, whose pursuits are promoted by V. S. Dempo Holdings Pvt. Ltd, lost to India No. 1 Anusha Kutumbale from Madhya Pradesh.
The semi-finals of the tournament saw tiny Tanisi defeating Poymanti Basya of West Bengal on the back of a quarter- final victory over Mani Nityashree of Tamil Nadu.
The Aizawl showing by Tanisi follows upon one bronze medal each bagged by her at Indore and Rajkot a month before. Emphatically stamping her arrival upon the national TT scene as a force to reckon with!
Leaving us at Dempo with the exhortation on our lips, “ Força, Bai Tanisi!”
