The first higher educational institution dedicated to commerce education to set up in Goa has earned an upgrade in the year after its golden jubilee.

The Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College of Commerce & Economics has been recommended yesterday, the 2nd May 2017, for re-accreditation at ‘A’ grade (a higher than previous rating) by the NAAC (the National Assessment & Accreditation Council).

Coming as it does in the year following the college golden jubilee, and in the year of it move to a state-of-the-art campus, the rating is recognition of the premier Goan commerce college’s efforts at continuous improvement in its academic and administrative processes. It signals the resolve of the Dempo Charities Trust, the body governing the institution, to stay in the forefront of the delivery of commerce education in the region. Trustees Pallavi S. Dempo, Shrinivas V Dempo, and Yatish S. Dempo joined other Trustees in congratulating College Principal, Dr. Radhika Nayak, Vice Principal, Dr. Harip Khanapuri, members of the college faculty and administrative staff in translating the Governing Body’s vision into reality.

All at Dempo congratulate Dempo Charities Trust and S. S. Dempo College of Commerce & Economics on this highly creditable achievement!
