Dempo Group is proud to support Goa’s para-footballer Niklesh Pednekar, who will represent India at the West Asian Football Championship.
Niklesh, an above-knee amputee who lost his right limb in a road accident, has shown remarkable determination in pursuing his sporting dreams. Through the Dempo Group’s Sports Policy, the company has supported him with an advanced prosthetic blade that will aid his training and performance.
At a special interaction held at Dempo House, Shrinivas Dempo, Chairman of Dempo Group of Companies, presented a cheque to Niklesh Pednekar. He was joined by Arvind Kuri, Dempo Group HR Head, along with Tinkesh and Sydenstrica Gautam, founders of the Tinkesh Ability Foundation.
Speaking on the occasion, Shrinivas Dempo lauded the athlete’s determination, noting: “Let what has happened remain in the past, don’t let it take away from your future.”
By supporting para-sports, Dempo Group reaffirms its commitment to inclusivity in sport and to empowering athletes to dream beyond limits.
