Representatives of Dempo Vishwa Gramshala (DVG) recently visited Government High School Kasarpal, a PM Shri school, and Government High School Sal in Bicholim Taluka following the completion of our engagement term with both schools.
Over the course of the programme, DVG worked with the schools on a range of initiatives connected to infrastructure, learning environments, sports facilities, and student engagement. Earlier interventions at Kasarpal included the development of playgrounds and sports infrastructure, classroom and campus improvements, drainage and safety works, and educational support systems extending across the school ecosystem. At Sal, support included improvements to staff facilities, laboratory resources, storage systems, and campus upkeep.
The initiative was undertaken through DVG, an educational programme of the Vasantrao Dempo Education and Research Foundation, in collaboration with the Directorate of Education, Government of Goa. The schools were adopted under a three-year engagement beginning in 2023.
