Dempo Challengers completed an unbeaten debut campaign to win the Badminton Pro League (BPL) 2026, defeating Prassa Challengers 120-104 in the final at the Indoor Stadium, Campal, Panaji.
The team finished at the top of the league standings with five wins from five matches before progressing through the playoffs to the final.
The title clash featured seven men’s doubles ties and one mixed doubles match. Dempo Challengers built an early lead and extended the advantage through the later ties to close the contest 120-104.
Several players from the squad also received individual honours during the tournament. Rushin Joshi and Mukesh Gauns were named Impact Pair of the playoff stage, while Soham Naik, Malaika Lobo and Sudhanva Udupa won MVP awards in their respective categories.
