DCT’s Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College (Autonomous), Cujira has received a grant under the Goa Startup Policy 2025 to establish the Dempo Incubation Centre for Venture Acceleration (DIVA).
The grant has been awarded under the ‘Grant for Incubation Centers within Educational Institutes Scheme’. It includes a one-time capital grant of up to ₹10 lakh for infrastructure development and an operational grant of up to ₹3 lakh annually for three years.
The funds will be used to create a dedicated incubation facility at the college’s Cujira campus, with co-working spaces, meeting rooms and prototyping facilities. DIVA will function as an autonomous, sector-agnostic incubator with focus areas including sustainability and equal opportunity, sports and health, social impact and education, and the blue economy.
